NASCAR Ford 400 - November 18, 19, 20th, 2011!!

For the 10th consecutive year, Homestead-Miami Speedway will host NASCAR during Ford Championship Weekend. Since the debut in 2002, historic NASCAR Championship moments have been made, including last fall when Jimmie Johnson became the first driver ever to claim five consecutive Sprint Cup Championships. Which driver is going to put an end to one of the most dominating runs in sports history following the Ford 400 Nov. 20?

A little history:

Homestead-Miami Speedway is a race track in Homestead, Florida southwest of Miami. It hosts the final races of the season in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide Series, Camping World Truck Series, and the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series. The NASCAR races are currently all sponsored by Fort Motor Company taking the names Ford 200, Ford 300 and Ford 400, respectively.

Birdstock 2011 is a Baby Boomer celebration commemorating growing up in South Florida during the 60's, 70's & 80's. It's a place to come together and relive not only the memories but also the simplicity of life during this time. It's about sharing stories and joy. Birdstock 2011 is an opportunity to escape the negativity and divisiveness that seems to pervade our lives in this new Millennium. It's about helping to raise much needed funding for Alzheimer's Disease which is fast becoming a HUGE problem for the Boomer generation!

All was just what I needed to accomplish my goals, & then unwind from the busy business project meetings. The suites were so stay-in-study-comfy, with coffee-maker, room-refrigerator, & sink/wet-bar area.
