The Adrienne Arsht Center is one of the largest performing art centers in the USA. This venue is home to the Florida Grand Opera and hosts a number of outdoor and indoor concerts featuring all kinds of music.

The Adrienne Arsht Center was partly built on the grounds of a former Sears department store, which was added to the United States National Register of Historic Places in 1997 as Sears, Roebuck and Company Department Store. However, by 2001, the only surviving part was a seven-story tower built by Sears. The department store itself had been demolished. The tower was preserved and incorporated into the new performing arts center.

The American Airlines Arena is South Florida’s home for the hottest events and concerts. It is located in Downtown Miami. Its construction began in 1998 as a replacement for the Miami Arena and was designed by the architecture firms Arquitectonica and 360 Architecture. The theater is often configured for concerts, family events, musical theatre and other stage shows. It's home to the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association.

The American Airlines Arena is accessible by the Miami Metrorail via free transfers to Metromover Omni Loop, providing direct service to Freedom Tower and Park West stations. It is also within walking distance from the Historic Overtown/Lyric Theatre Metrorail station.

Located in Miami Gardens, Sun Life Stadium is a multi-use sports and entertainment showplace. It's home to the Miami Dolphins, Florida Marlins, University of Miami football, Discover Orange Bowl and many world-class events and concerts.

Sun Life Stadium has hosted five Super Bowls (XXIII, XXIX, XXXIII, XLI and XLIV), the 2010 Pro Bowl, two World Series (1997 and 2003), four BCS National Championship Games (2001, 2005, 2009, 2013). It has also served as host for the second round of the 2009 World Baseball Classic and WrestleMania XXVIII.
