Focusing on the historical interdependence between art and fashion, MIAFFF promotes the idea that “fashion is art” with local and international films that highlight fashion design through graphics, sound and motion. It features real life and digital environments as well as revealing documentaries that explore the designer’s psyche and craft.
MIAFFF will include designer brands and experimental shorts, along with fashion-in-film classics that have inspired our love of fashion. Fashion design will be fully explored through exhibits and workshops that feature local fashion professionals who use design, photography and film to expand the harmonious dialogue of art and fashion.
