Hurricane Safe Hotels in Miami
Hurricane season (June 1st to November 30th) is here again, and our hotel in Miami would like you to know that there’s no concern for safety when you stay with us. Our building is structurally sound and designed to withstand high winds and inclement weather. We are also the closest hotel to the National Hurricane Center, and some emergency services for the Florida Keys even operate from our hotel.
Our Miami hotel offers reinforced exterior and interior concrete walls, floors and roof, even between rooms. The windows are designed to withstand 250 mph winds. We also have full power backup through a natural gas generator, which can provide air conditioning and electricity to the entire, hurricane resistant Miami hotel. Our system cannot run out of fuel, since the gas lines run underground and are not supplied by a tank that would otherwise require refilling. At Comfort Suites Miami, you won’t be kept in the dark during strong storms and other adverse weather conditions, which makes our hotel one of the best hotels in Miami.
A dual benefit to weather-resistant construction and shatter-proof windows is that our hurricane safe hotel in Miami is also sound resistant. You can unwind and enjoy ultimate privacy in your suite as you sleep, dine, surf Online with Comfort Suites Miami’s complimentary Internet access or just spend time with your family, undisturbed. This means that your Miami vacation or business trip will not be disturbed by the sounds that might accompany loud windstorms, thunderstorms and downpours.
Experts Predictions for the 2015 Hurricane Season
The Weather Channel is predicting a hurricane season that's slightly less active than the average, with nine named storms, five hurricanes and one major hurricane this year.
NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) is predicting a quieter-than-normal season with six to 11 named storms, three to six hurricanes, and up to two major hurricanes.
Global Weather Oscillations Inc. (GWO) is going in the opposite direction, predicting that the 2015 Atlantic hurricane season will be the most active and dangerous in at least three years and that the next three seasons will be the most dangerous in 10 years. In 2015, GWO is forecasting 14 named tropical storms, with eight hurricanes and three major hurricanes.

Graziano's History
They’re proud to say that not only do they offer the best Argentine food in Miami, but they were among the first to introduce the cuisine to the region. Graziano's got its start with an Argentine market. They soon learned that people wanted more than a market – they wanted traditional Argentine grilled meat, so they started cooking. On weekends, Graziano's set up wooden tables in the parking lot with Coca-Cola crates for chairs and an outside grill. People came in hordes, and that’s when Graziano's knew what Miami wanted.
Graziano's success in this country was no fluke – they came here with decades of experience. Fifty years ago, in Buenos Aires, Mario Graziano established a traditional butcher shop. After almost three decades in business, he decided to try his luck in the United States, and he moved to Miami with his wife, Maria, and their children. Maria and the children worked with Mario – the kids grew up in the business, working on weekends when they were in school, then graduating to careers in Graziano’s Group. They’re still working at Graziano’s now, and so are many of Mario’s grandchildren.
Graziano's has grown since their days serving grilled meat in the parking lot, but their ideals and traditions are still the same – the best cuts of meat, prepared in traditional Argentine ways, from their family to you.

Miami Hotel Vacation Weather
Miami has comfortably warm weather all year long. Highs are usually in the 70s and 80s. Even the winter months offer excellent vacation weather. Humidity is at its worse in the summer and it can be irritating to travelers that are used to dry heat. The month of June usually gets the most rainfall, so you may want to plan your vacation during the other months of the year.
Florida is located within the hurricane belt, so Miami is at risk for hurricanes and tropical storms from June to November. Prepare for travel during these months by purchasing extra travel insurance that covers you in the event of a hurricane. Also keep a close watch on weather forecasts prior to your departure.
When planning your vacation, you can choose the energy of peak season with tourism at its high and usually perfect winter weather, or you can choose the sunny calmness of low season for more inexpensive fares and emptier beaches. Typically, Miami tourism heats up when Northern American states get cold. The peak season spans from January through April.
You will find the least expensive rates for a Miami hotel during the low-season summer months, and weekdays are usually cheaper than weekends. In the peak season, you may find small price breaks by traveling midweek rather than on the weekend. Dining and attraction prices are not so dependent on the seasons, but occasionally you'll find summer coupons that are not available during winter months. Hotels near Miami Zoo and other popular hot spots usually offer summer discounts directly associated with their nearest attractions, so you may want to seek them out.
