The Miccosukee Golf & Country Club boasts three beautiful courses; the Barracuda, Dolphin & Marlin. Situated in the heart of Miami, this Mark Mahannah masterpiece is the proud home of the Miccosukee Championship and it is also considered by many to have the best layout in the South Florida area.

If you are looking to play a great round of golf on your vacation without breaking the bank, this is your course. Its beautiful tree-lined fairways allow you to keep your drives in play. Many scenic views of the countryside can be seen throughout these gorgeous Miami golf courses.

Another excellent golf course in the area is The Doral Country Club (known today as the Trump National Doral Miami). It features a total of five championship golf courses; The Blue Monster Course, The Great White Course, The Gold Course, The Red Course, and The Jim McLean Signature Course.

Famous for hosting the World Golf Championship, some of the greatest players in the game have competed on this beautiful golf course in Miami. The Doral Country Club is full of challenges for golfers at any level.

Miami Golf Courses

If shopping, sun bathing, or people watching aren’t your choice of leisure activities when traveling to South Florida and the Miami Kendall area, then it must be golf! There are dozens of excellent Miami golf courses throughout the area and most are near hotels in Miami and Kendall.

The Miccosukee Golf & Country Club, located at 6401 Kendale Lakes Dr, is a public course. Formerly known as Miami National Golf Club, this facility has three individual nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. All the fairways are narrow due to an extremely thick cut of rough; however, there is only a scattering of trees that can affect your shots. Furthermore, numerous sand bunkers on the course may cause problems for the average player, and water hazards come into play at every corner on all three courses. The terrain is fairly flat, but there is some slight mounding that can occasionally leave you with an uneven lie. The large greens are undulating and fast. Many scenic views of the countryside can be seen throughout these courses.

The Doral Country Club is another excellent golf course. Home to the famous Blue Monster, this course is full of challenges for players at any level. Famous for hosting the World Golf Championship, some of the greatest players in the game have competed on this beautiful Miami golf course.
